KARICHI CHUTNEY or RAW MANGO CHUTNEY
Ingredients:

Raw Mango
1
Onion
2
tsp Chili Powder
1
bowl Jaggery
½
bowl powdered penauts
3tsp oil
1tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp fenugreek seeds (methi)
1 tsp turmeric powder
Pinch of asafetida
Salt to taste
Method:
- Peel and grate the raw mango, onions and jaggery separately.
- Combine grated mango and onions in a bowl, add jaggery, peanut powder, chili powder and salt and mix well.
- Keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes or till the jaggery melt properly.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and add the mustard seeds when the seeds crackle, add asafetida, fenugreek seeds and turmeric powder and sauté for 10 seconds.
- Pour it on above mixture. Mix well.
- Serve hot.
- You can eat it with chapatti or bread.
